Introduction
Employers who have a bank account with Metrobank that is under their registered business may opt to enroll or regsiter to eGov for an easy and convenient way to pay their monthly contributions and loans for SSS, Pag-ibig and Philhealth.
What is eGov Converter?
eGov converter is a software designed for the generation needed files to be uploaded on the eGov site when creating a new payment. It has a module for SSS
After successful enrollment, the bank will send it via email together with the manual. If you haven't receive yet, just coordinate with your bank because each bank has it's own converter software.
How to Install Metrobank eGov Converter?
Attached on the email sent by the bank, download the file then open (egov.zip) then Extract (if prompted, browse where to save)
Open the extracted file and you will see two folders: MBTC_egov_EmployerName and Output. Open the folder with your employer name and click MBTC_eGov_Converter.exe to run the converter.

How to Install the Updated Metrobank eGov Converter?
1. Click Metrobank eGov Converter v2019 or input link below on your browser to
2. Extract file then launch exe file
3. Click Set-up and enter employer details
Then Save.
You can now upload Pagibig MCL file without the previous errors.
How to Solve Pag-ibig Validation Result Error?
Last year 2020, Bancnet has upgraded certain validation checks when uploading Pag-ibig files that led to some files being rejected.
If you are experiencing validation result error with your Pag-ibig payment, you can find the solution on my other post. But if you wish to completely avoid such error, you need to update your eGov converter to the latest version.
Conclusion
When creating your Pag-ibig MCL file, you may use the original or latest version. Whatever is convenient for you.
